I surprised my husband yesterday for his birthday with tickets. We attended the matinee with the alternate Frankie. At first I was disappointed to see that in the program, however, he was phenominal!! The entire production was so well done, great story telling, incredible voices, simple yet perfect staging. The guys had great on stage chemistry. Loved loved loved it !!! We even had the pleasure of seeing "Frankie" at the restaurant we had dinner at after the show. Got his autograph as well. What a nice guy and what a big talent. Great job !! I want to see it again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AWESOME MUSICAL
I will certainly remeber the day I went to see Jersey Boys at
the Bank of America Theater. The show was amazing. I had
heard some of the music before. And because I am sixteen
this music wasn't something I was used to hearing and
remebered. But ionce they started singing, I was instantly
hooked and now I can't stop listening to their album and the
orignal Franki Valli and The Four Seasons. I was very
impressed by how the props moved off the stage without
people doing it. This show also gave me the story behind the
songs they wrote wgivh was amazing. This show is certainly
not for children as it contains strong lamguage and sexual
dialogue. Suitable for people 16 and older though. An
unforgettable show. But a drawback is the staff at the show
was kind of rude and pushy. They didn't seem glad to see you.
Also the view wasn't great but you could see about everything
from the middle section. I would choose the lower section if
you willing to pay for it. But all in all a great show.

RAVE REVIEW
The Jersey Boys Show was a birthday gift...... as the show began,
I fell in love with the music, the dialogue and the dancing. The seats
were perfect and by the end of the show, there was a spot where
the entire audience sang along..... I would definitely take my
mother and father to this show. The show runs smoothly and the
songs/dancing coordinate beautifully with the dialogue. Five stars
and above!

GREAT MUSIC AND FAB PERFORMANCE
Yes the language is tough but you know that going in! I could not believe Frankie did not get a standing ovation after his wonderful 2nd act solo.
My wife and I sat middle row 4 on Thursday night and if we can afford it will return for a 2nd show! Been humming the music all day - of coure we are in our 60's but no way can you go and not enjoy music and performances.

UNDESCRIBABLE
This was the 3rd time I've seen this show. It truly
leaves a mark on your soul when you leave there. You
will never get any closer to re-living a special
time in history of great music, growing up in an
Italian neighborhood, an appreciation for friends
and family. If I could, I would go every wweek to
see it over an over again.

INCREDIBLE!!
My husband and I absolutely LOVED this show!! We had awesome front row seats. The singing and acting were excellent. If you closed your eyes, you could nearly believe the "real" Frankie Valli was up there on the stage. Some of the language is probably not suitable for children, but I would absolutely recommend this musical to any adult who enjoys great music from the 60's.
Nancy Furniss from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
BEST SHOW OUT THERE.
I have seen "Jersey Boys" three times 2 times on Broadway and 1 time @ Forest Theatre and I have to say after sitting through it each time I could watch it again immediately after seeing it. It is by far the best musical I have seen, including Phantom of the Opera, Grease Wicked, etc. need I go on. The talent in this production will far exceed any expectations you may have. I'm hoping to see it again before it goes away.

Thank you Starlight for bringing this great story and cast to Starlight. What an absolute
delight. The singing was fantastic (except for the one song by The Angels, the girl
band..they were way too screechy). The four main characters were awesome, the
singing spot on and the staging very clever. Loved it!!!

TERRIFIC!
Through my teen years, I followed this group's music. The Jersey Boys
brought so much alive again. This touring cast is terrific. Best sound I
have experienced at Artis. The precautions about New Jersey
"language," gunfire, lights, etc. were to be taken seriously by those not
familiar with the era and musical. Seemed the younger nature of the
attendees was in sync with those who attended The Book of Mormon.
We had series tickets and could easily compare this. Kudos to Artis for
offering diversity of musicals.

EXCELLENT!
Just saw Jersey Boys at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver. Loved the show!
The acting and singing and dancing was excellent.
Never knew the story behind the group so it was interesting the way they wove it all
together.
Yes there was swearing but I didn’t find it excessive and it was certainly nothing I had not
heard before. Probably not good for young children with that in mind.
At the end they got a standing O for about 5 minutes! It was well worth seeing.
Good job!

INCREDIBLY UPLIFTING AND EXTREMELY WELL DONE
Great acting. Wonderful singing, extremely clever staging and a top notch musicians. I
would go see it again RIGHT NOW if I could. Wow!

BETTER THAN THE 'REAL' GROUP?!
I saw Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons at Bushnell Memorial Hall in Hartford, CT, in '67. Phenomenal then but the Jersey Boys adds the dimension of exposing the group's less-than-perfect interpersonal history which is intriguing and generally unknown.
The language was a bit saltier than it needed to be (cussing doesn't have to be sexually vulgar to have the impact) but, other than that, it was awesome. The singing and the choreography is flawless!
Bettejean Napolitano from Middlebury ct
GREAT SHOW!!!
I would give 8 stars if possible. What a great night. The singing was wonderful the staging was perfect. My husband and I would have loved to go back to the 8:00 show and watch it again!! I think this is just about the best show I have seen. On the way out I even got to shake Frankies hand while donating and was tempted to say to him "Now Frankie make sure this money goes to the right place." I bet he would have gotten a kick out of it. I would highly recommend seeing The Jersey Boys.
DD from Chicago, Illinois
JERSEY BOYS - CHICAGO
Excellent show, great music. Frankie lead nailed some songs, was lighter in the softer songs. Any song with the word “eye” seemed to go bad as he tries to articulate words that the real Frankie would not. More swearing than necessary, but it didn’t bother me. Still 5 stars overall.
Sandy from Detroit, Michigan
OH WHAT A NIGHT!(OR DAY IN MY CASE)
I just got back from the matinee showing of The Jersey Boys. What a great show....nonn stop entertainment, song after song after song, and the crowd really gets into it. This was a birthday present for my boyfriend who is a long time fan of the Four Seasons, but I was singing along and clapping just as much as he was.

SHOW AND SEATS
The show was wonderful in all respects. Hare to tell this bunch from the originals and the lead singer was incredible. That said, the playhouse is still the playhouse and we could hardly move in our seats. The show would have had more standing ovations if people could move after sitting on their most uncomfortable seats. Wonderful day though

F BOMB, WHY?
Yes, I was raised in the 50's and 60's and no, the f bomb was not used then as much as it was used here and we didn't find it funny in this musical. Music and songs were definitely 5 stars. No I would not have taken my mother or children. My wife was equally offended and couldn't understand because her and have been life long 4 Season fans.

AWESOME PRODUCTION!
What a treat!...a blast from my past, as I was a young man when Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons were relatively new on the music scene, and I loved them back then...the cast has great stage chemistry...Frankie was incredible!...what a voice!..the entire cast was awesome...I would definitely see this production again!
Thanks Broadway in Tucson!

The performance was amazing! Not only was their story one great story to tell, but the music was so spectacular and the performing was wonderful. The entire crowd felt the same, as everyone gave them a standing ovation at the end. Definitely a must-see performance!!!

WOW! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SHOW ALL AROUND!
It was well worth the wait after waiting 45 minutes for the show to start due to technical difficulties. I'm 45 and grew up on this music (because of my parents). The show was very fast-paced in it's storyline but it had to be, seeing as how there was so much to cover! Wow! What a story! The show made me feel like I was brought back to that time! I couldn't get over the talent of the entire cast but especially the men that played Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons~ Jon Hacker was outstanding! I wish I could see it all over again! Loved the music-loved the choreography-loved the makeup/costumes! Absolutely loved it all! Great job, cast and crew!

Saw opening night last night. Tough sittin still in your chair and not sing for this one. Wanted to get up and dance & sing along. Fun time! Good seats on main floor. Definately recommend for a night out. Did take my children, granted, later teens. Some profanity, though nothing they haven't heard already! OPENING NIGHT----FANTASTIC
My son (in his 20s) and I went to see this- he enjoys all kinds of music but wondered if this would be best for the "grey haired." We both LOVED it! Interesting biographical story with great dialogue--pay attention or you'll miss some of the best lines. Yes, there is strong language -it's Jersey real, and neither it nor parts of the story are suitable for young kids --or those who are offended by profanity or true-to -life teenage boy events. None-the -less it is a non-stop, feel-good experience; the crowd left the Buell Theater singing and clapping. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there were a couple of very minor issues with the sound and a few notes not quite right-but I expected even more of these kinds of issues on opening night, so was pleasantly surprised. We had orchestra seats, in the double letter section-great view. It was money well spent for a night to remember. Absolutely recommended!!!

EXCELLANT SHOW
We saw the opening night performance, it was great. The cast was wonderful and they really kept up a quick pace the entire night. They did a wonderful job bringing the story to life. They earned their ovations and applause for a wonderful show.

WE WENT TO SEE THE SHOW FEBRUARY 1, AFTERNOON MATINEE AND ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH. THE ACCOUSTICS WERE GREAT. HOWEVER, MY HUSBAND HAS DEGENERATIVE DISCS AND WALKS WITH A CANE AND NO ONE OFFERED ANY ASSISTANCE . WE WERE SEATED IN THE SECOND BALCONY AND THANK GOD IT WAS THE TOP ROW SEATING WHERE HE DIDN'T HAVE TO WALK DOWN THE AISLE W/O ANY RAILING. IN ADDITION, THE SHOW STARTED ON TIME AND WENT SMOOTHLY. i WOULD RECOMMEND SEEING THIS PERFORANCE TO ANYONE.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
Last Saturday, my best bud, Spencito Fairbanks and I embarked on a trek south to Kentridge High School. I think that we both have found diamond in the rough…in regards to AMAZING theatre! That night we were treated to a wonderful production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
I never thought that two discriminating theatre snobs, Like Spencer and myself would be SO starving for new theater, that we would be reduced to High School suburbia theatre…
Well, nothing could be farther from the truth. In fact it was Spencer taking me out to Kentridge High School’s last production of “EVITA.” which completely won us over!
Well, I am rambling..Ill get to the current show. After having seen this show on Broadway, and at Disneyland Park, I was once again surprised to hear that Kentridge was going to mount, yet again, a non typical, high school musical.
The show was wonderful! From the start, the great set and costumes reel you right in! I was SO excited to see that Caelan Creaser, who rocked the lead role in “EVITA,” was back again, as Belle. Her characterization was perfect! Half Disney-fied princess, half vulnerable seeker…Caelan’s articulate, lyrical command of the Menken / Ashman score is solid, and really keeps the entire show moving forward. This girl WILL be on Broadway someday soon!! Most surprising, was the great performance of The Beast. This is a part that is often forgotten. But, I was completely captivated by the emotionally charged, dramatic interpretation of the role…not to mention, the great vocals from the baritone.
The supporting cast complimented each other so well…Lumiere, Cogsworth, Babette, Wardrobe, and friends really steal the scenes with their great caricatures! Gaston really began strong…I just felt I wanted him to be more strong in his character…both physically and vocally. I know he has it in him. Just be more arrogantly confident! Lefou, was amazing! I thought ALL the chorus numbers were BRILLIANT! The staging and choreography made the numbers look twice a full and three times as big!! BRAVO!! The amazing talents and voices of the entire cast made this big show a WINNER!
The real heroine here isn’t Belle…its Jennifer Grajewski! Director and source of magic that drives this AMAZING program at Kentridge. I am completely in awe of this woman! Her love of these kids, these shows, and the Theatre….completely has ME…not only…so PROUD that a local school and kids have such a wonderful resource, friend, and mentor….but that they are taking risks by picking challenging…non typical shows….and then….delivering AMAZING, professionally polished productions….not to mention turning out some very capable and experienced talents that will be well on their way to careers in the Theatre.
Personally, I have never been so motivated. I want to be doing what Jennifer is doing. I love this lady and what a difference she is making! I look forward to getting to know her better. But, I can tell you one thing! I am want to do what ever I can to be a part of this great group…so get out to Kentridge and see what I’m talking about~! I feel like I have been given a great gift..by finding out what hidden treasure is thriving down south! GREAT JOB TO ALL INVOLVED!!
PLEASE SUPPORT THIS WONDERFUL PROGRAM.
RJ Wayne from South Lake Tahoe, California
STILL WORTH IT!
The cast was stellar, and despite a supporting cast that was about 60% the strength of the original Broadway production (two actual brass musicians vs. seven in the original and three "shoop-shoop" girls instead of five) they gave the audience their money's worth. The feel was still there. Thirteen years ago it was the hottest ticket on Broadway, and today, the hottest in Sacramento.
Angela Scott from Vancouver, British Columbia
GREAT BUT NO NEED FOR REAL CIGARETTES, NO VENTILATION.
When we first sat down we notice the haze, didn't put too much thought. The show
was great! very entertaining.
But by the time the intermission came all I could do was smell the smoke. Totally
unnecessary. A chocolate cigarette could have had the same effect. We get it! it
was the sixties.
Also, toning down the language wouldn't hurt the play either.
Before the show we went to Chambar Restaurant. It was great! I highly recommend
it! But please make reservations.
Overall (dinner and play) was a great night out.
Elaine from Calgary, Alberta
LOVE THE SHOW BUT...
I loved the show and listening to such great hits. The acting was fun.
We did not care for so much swearing though..We were on the first
balcony and it was difficult at time to hear the words sang by Valli. It
happened most often when he was holding the small microphone
himself. His voice was also pitchy, particularly after intermission.
Overall a great show. I would recommend it but would not bring
children. Too much swearing. They could have done better with
much less.
Melissa Walters from Norfolk, Virginia
CONSTANT F BOMB.
Why take a play that is such a hit and add so much foul language. I have seen the play several times over the years. They added the "F" bomb over and over in Norfolk. So much talent, great songs and singing, why ruin it. You should be able to take your family and could to the original play, but thank God I didn't bring my kids this time.

SOMEWHAT DISAPPOINTED WITH
My gal and I had seen this show a few years ago in Providence and loved it. We both came away with same belief that the Frankie in Worcester was not nearly as good as the one in
Providence. I tried had to imagine the guy as Frankie, but he came no where close to capturing that particular magic. Despite this shortcoming , I would still recommend the show to
anyone looking for a good time and good memories. Would not recommend getting the balcony seats if you are over 5'8". Tough on the knees. Also, I hope that management is aware of
the constant hum/buzz of what is probably a heater on the top right of the building. Very distracting and frequently drowned out some of the dialogue. The interior of this building is truly
beautiful, just too bad that some of the seating is a bit on the uncomfortable side.
Sandra Horner from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
SHOULD BE RATED FOR LANGUAGE.
Although I enjoyed the music in this show I was very offended by the overuse of the F--- word. This was music from the time when I was a teenager and people did not use that word as they do today. It did not fit the time of the group. I feel that the word was added for shock value. I talked to people who saw the show earlier in the year and they said that it was used only a few times in the show. If this is a sign of how shows are changing I think I will not be coming to this theater again. I was on a bus trip with 53 people on it and we discussed this with several people on the bus and they all felt the same. It is a shame that such great music was spoiled by the gratuitous cursing of the cast. I would not recommend it for children.

ACOUSTICS AT CENTENNIAL HALL
The Jersey boys Concert was a disappointment as far as the acoustics - we did not hear most of the dialogue-- the music we could hear just fine -- but when the cast was talking we were lost -- had obtained hearing devices, but they did not work. We were seated on the left side of the orchestra to the back.
DC from Fort Lauderdale, Florida
DISAPPOINTING
3 times is not a charm . Performance on 5/10/18 was
at best mediocre. The lead actor playing Valli was
perfectly subpar. He could barely carry a tune, and
forget about hitting Valli’s storied high notes. I’m sure
he was giving his all, but he performance pulled down
the entire cast. Please, find someone who can actually
mimic Valli for future Ft. Lauderdale dates. Dinner at
Marti’s was again wonderful, thanks in large part to
our favorite bartender Sara!

The acting was fabulous, the music wonderful. Very disappointing to hear so much vulgar language. I wouldn't take my mother to see it and even my adult daughter was upset by all the swearing. Left a bad taste despite the wonderful talent.

NOT THE BROADWAY JERSEY BOYS
Are we the only ones who thought this version of JERSEY BOYS was subpar? This was our fifth time see on the musical, and we were astounded by this watered down version. This version eliminated the great dancing by the Four Seasons while singing, had so much swearing that our ears nearly fell off, and few costume changes, The cast looked like characters of 2019, and the fellow who played Frankie Valli had sandy colored hair. The microphones were not working properly. Next time we’ll ask for the other version.
Donna Rountree from Jacksonville, Florida

The original was so much better. The first half of the musical had very little music. The voices were awesome but the original version and story line was so much better

GREAT MUSIC AND STORY
Music, sound and acting = Great! Would have been a much better play without the foul language. There is no need for such filth but in todays world there is not enough pride in people to feel anything is wrong with it.

SURPRISED A BETTER VALLI VOICE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN FOUND
With a weak to average falcetto and nasaly-sounding normal range I'm really surprised a better voice for Valli could not have been cast.
Shakespeare from Kent, Washington
PROFANITY
We were very disappointed with the swearing. The singing was not very good in the first half and improved a little in the 2nd half. I'm glad I bought my tickets on discount and didn't pay full price. I don't recommend the show. Sorry.
John Juarez from Lake forest California.
SOUND
I have seen Jersey Boys in Las Vegas and NY. I was very disappointed with
The sound quality in Costa Mesa. The sound engineer obviously didn't do a
sound check on the balcony. Very disappointed.

GREAT SINGING, MEDIOCRE ACTING
The musical performances were awesome and the actor who played Frankie had an amazing voice. The lighting and video effects were also really great. That said, we left during intermission. The acting wasn't great, and the bad high-school-drama-club New Jersey accents were painful to listen to. One actor even slipped in and out of his bad accent at random. (I grew up in NJ, and if you saw this Detroit show, please believe me- no one sounds like that.) Trying to leave the theater early was the worst part- it's in a sketchy neighborhood, and the attached parking garage was gated and locked. It was completely deserted, without even an attendant at the exit. We had to get back in via the skywalk, and then drive around to three different intercoms before finding a working one so that someone could open the gate. I definitely won't go back to Fisher Theatre.
Ruby from Ottawa, Ontario
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED
The music and acting was great BUT it would have
been a much better play without the foul language. I
felt extremely uncomfortable sitting there listening
to their filthy mouths. I would NOT recommend this
to anyone.
Carol Simonette from Minneapolis, Minnesota
JERSEY BOYS
I saw Jersey Boys on Broadway and there is no way this compares. Why all the swearing? It took 45 minutes for the group to sing. Why the token gay guy and he had to be flaming? What was the need to discuss and analyze "Walk Like a Man" Why have a rap music/dance group to start the play?
Fred from Galveston, Texas
WHY THE NEED FOR FOWL LANGUAGE!!!!!
I don’t get it! Was a great show, great acting, great songs. Overshadowed by unnecessary ridiculous fowl language. Yes we have all heard the ‘F’ word plenty of times, but not when I hyped up the show to my parents and grandparents. It’s an embarrassment to recommend this show to friends and family who don’t use that language in everyday speech. You’ve dragged a great show through the mire to appease the less morally inclined. Guess it’s the ‘modern’ world we live in ...not true to the 60’s.
Ellen Enright from Mashpee, MA
WHAT VERSION WAS THIS?
This was our 5th time seeing JERSEY BOYS!. What a disappointment. The other times, the characters danced while singing and the costumes were more elaborate , not just gray suits. This time they played fake musical instruments with very little dance steps. The constant swearing added nothing to the performance. The actor who played Frankie had a great voice but had ?sandy colored hair and a 2019 haircut. Many songs were cut short and four songs were missing. The gay guy is new. If this was the first time seeing it, you were probably entertained. This was a very watered down version.
from Buffalo, New York
SUB PAR
John Hacker as Valli brought the whole cast down. He was off key to start several songs. He also was going an octave lower than Valli. The actor playing Bob Gaudio was great. The rest of the cast seemed to be going through the motions. Have seen the show several times. The punchlines have a certain oomph. Like “Valli with and I”. But the actors here were just saying lines. Not delivering them. It is a shame. The tickets were very expensive and the show was not up to quality. We still love the music and had a good time. Because the music is the music.
Don & Kathi from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
GOOD MUSIC HORRIBLE PRODUCTION F BOMB UNNECESSARY.
After long anticipation to see the production. We were truly disappointed with the whole experience. The music was enjoyable but completely overshadowed buy the constant and unnecessary F Bombs. I was upset for my wife who finally said enough is enough. The acoustics were awful and the cast was hard to understand. Leaving the theatre the opinions were oh it was fantastic, best ever, I fail to see the hype and wonder why it has lasted as long as it did. With a production as horrible as this one I suggest you stay in New Jersey boys because your not welcome in Pittsburgh. I sure they would respond with an F you!!!
D. KIng from Providence, Rhode Island
WHY SO MUCH SWEARING?
I am not a prude but the language was a complete turn off. This show should be rated. Everybody kept saying this show is so good you should see it. I bought the tickets really didn't know what it was about. Let me say I am not a fan of this group, this is not my era. I know their music but I wouldn't waste my time listening to it.. When I realized what the show was I was disappointed I couldm't wait for it to end. Worst show I have seen.
Anonymous from Washington, District of Columbia
NOTHING LIKE ORIGINAL
First of all, I was upset by the language, lots and lots of F--- words. The dialogue didnt portray the times of The Four Seasons. Lots of comments criticizing women and the church and smoking marijuana not of the times. Frankies voice was grating most of the time. I left at intermission.
